John's Blessing

At the last minute Kelly's Mom found the blessing outfit that Kelly was blessed in. It was really fun because Kelly got him dressed that day. I thought it was really cute to connect them like that. The booties were borrowed from Jackson and my Aunt Bertha made the blanket.

I recognized the blanket instantly :). I should have blessed Sean in it - but I didn't think about it - and I guess Weston's blessing outfit was more ivory than white... I also blessed my baby in his dad's blessing outfit. Your boy is so cute! I can't believe how many cute babies there are in the Seaman clan:)

We had a blanket like that from Aunt Bertha that Ezra and Noah were blessed in. I kept it in Noah's crib for a while and before I got around to putting it away he had dubbed it his "key-key" and wouldn't be separated from it. It was painful to watch it become less an less white and start to unravel around the edges, but at the same time- it was fun to see Noah love it so much. I have it put away now in all it's shabbiness- and it is that much more special now because of the wear. :)

I loved Jane wearing a "vintage" dress too. It was neat thinking about me wearing the same sweet dress...too bad there weren't any pictures!

John looks oh so sweet! Hope everything went well.

Lucas was blessed in Adam's blessing outfit. James got a new one so he could start the tradition himself, plus he was too big by the time we blessed him.

I am curious as to why no one has commented on the fact that little John is obviously challenging anyone to make fun of the fact he is wearing that outfit. The hands cracking the knuckles, the defiant stare. Come on people that is one tough baby!
