Matchy Matchy

My Sister Laura's Bigger than me
And lifts me up quite easily.
I can't lift her, I've tried and tried;
She must have something heavy inside.

A Time to Talk

By Robert Frost

When a friend calls to me from the road
And slows his horse to a meaning walk,
I don't stand still and look around
On all the hills I haven't hoed,
And shout from where I am, What is it?
No, not as there is a time to talk.
I thrust my hoe in the mellow ground,
Blade-end up and five feet tall,
And plod: I go up to the stone wall
For a friendly visit.

3rd Time

I think this was the first time where Margaret didn't ever ask to be picked up or cry. I call that a huge success!

After School

Homework and violin practice. The later photo reminded me of this one I took last year.

Small Changes

It smells like autumn. The hills are red. Just the first hints are starting to show but it was a lovely walk all the same. I am determined to go higher next time because I know the color is there!
We were so glad that Kelly could come.
Margaret is saying "What's the password." I believe it was Hermione Granger.

1st Day of School?

I had giving a lot of thought to John's 1st day of school. I wanted it to be such a great experience for him. It had the potential to be so great. Well, right before back to school night John had and an accident. He broke his arm jumping off the neighbors trampoline. He was so disappointed. Even while he was drugged up he was asking what time it was trying to see if he could still make it. That was a big "NO." We did go the next day. We meet his teacher, told her what happened and he spent the rest of the day trying to rest.
