Craters of the Moon

It was so fun to ride down to Craters of the Moon. We went at the peak of the flower season and I have to say it was interesting. Not what you would think. Scale is difficult to show in the photographs. The last photo is the ceiling of the lava tube. The day was hot but fun. Fun to listen to Mrs Piggly Wiggly, fun to eat in the parking lot, fun to make a new friend in Amy, fun to walk thought caves, and finally fun to be together.

Why Butterfly?
Butterflies are known for their unusual life cycle that includes a spectacular metamorphosis from caterpillar to a colorful winged adult. They have an erratic yet graceful flight pattern that attracts attention when they pass. The Ancient Greek word for butterfly is psȳchē, which means soul. I particularly admire their symmetry and kaleidoscope of colors.
