Early Christmas

So this year we happily had Christmas a day early. All the regular stuff occurred. Stockings, Opening gifts, turnovers for breakfast, and a yule log for dessert at dinner. It was nice to have Corey and Eileen pop in and the children loved there gifts. Kelly gave me a marble run and I got him a license plate cover.

Why Butterfly?
Butterflies are known for their unusual life cycle that includes a spectacular metamorphosis from caterpillar to a colorful winged adult. They have an erratic yet graceful flight pattern that attracts attention when they pass. The Ancient Greek word for butterfly is psȳchē, which means soul. I particularly admire their symmetry and kaleidoscope of colors.

I think your mushrooms are lovely. :) I do love mushrooms--not necessarily to eat (although I do love that too), but just the kind of elfish/mystical/fairiesh/magical-nes about them. :)
