The Swing

I like the complementary colors of blue and orange in these photos. Clara kept asking to go to Taryn's Park this week. I like to make her happy so we went. While watching her I couldn't help think about this poem by Robert Louis Stevenson entitled The Swing.

How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
River and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown--
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

Sal,
Fun fotos, cute kids, love the poem. I remember the Swing from my days in jr Primary in the 50s. It was put to music so easy for me to remember 52 years ago. I'll sing it to you all when I see you in a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

Very nice photos, but considering that there are MANY more pictures of the girl child, I think you're doing favoritism.Poor girl, is that hate ??!!!!!!!!!!
