Why Butterfly?
Butterflies are known for their unusual life cycle that includes a spectacular metamorphosis from caterpillar to a colorful winged adult. They have an erratic yet graceful flight pattern that attracts attention when they pass. The Ancient Greek word for butterfly is psȳchē, which means soul. I particularly admire their symmetry and kaleidoscope of colors.

What is Jill collecting? And why don't you do a whole post with all the ones you have already taken "for Jill"? I love the way you see things.
Melissa, these are the other lamp post photos I have taken. One time we were talking about what else I should take photos of besides plants and she said lamp posts. Kassie has also requested dogs but it seems like when I see them I don't have my camera. I am working on it though.

I stumbled upon your blog and looked at so many of your posts because, WOW--your photos are beautiful, and so are your children! I'd sure love to have you photograph MY little ones (though some of them aren't so little any more). One of my daughters is named Jillian (Jill). I think I'll show her this photo, but she does LOVE dogs, if you can capture any... :0)
