Kitchen Capers

This little girl has been tearing apart the kitchen. She has her own special cupboard. Eliza shuts herself in and can pushes open the draw above like a little ghost.

This is our Steven Nelson. John started cello lessons in November. He started with plucking and getting used to holding the bow. Already being pretty good at note reading has giving him a leg up. John is planning that Kelly will be Jon Schmidt.

Italy Day 9

We had one day in Venice but we packed fun in. The view for San Giorgio was great and free. The chapel had this lovely welcome.

 Peace be to you who enter this house ancient monument of art, but above all the "House of God", a place where today, men still live together in search of our Lord. May your short visit among us help you experience the blessing presence of God

In Murano we visited a glass factory and made some great purchases. But the best was the lovely breakfast we had in the morning. I didn't want it to end.

Italy Day 8

 

San Gimignano had amazing views. I slept till we got to Sienna and felt like I never settled in but fun to hear about the horse races.  Driving through Tuscany was wonderful. And getting the car back to Florence was exciting and down to the wire.
