Clara got a buckle fracture. I think the pink with purple heart cast is so cute. Clara rubbed it and said "beautiful" with her cute little inflection. It was hard to see her get hurt and take her to the ER. I am glad that she will be able to heal with some protection.
A collage friend made an image similar to this when she was in high school. This photo reminds me of her.
On Mom's machine I sewed the edges on these flannel blankets I made. I am so excited to have a little boy. We are naming him John and he is due Aug 21.
We normally go to Zion the Saturday before Easter but this year it was cold and rainy. Instead we had fun in the ward building. Mom makes bunny and flower cookies. We ate sandwiches and taco salad on the same tablecloths as always. This year the children had a Easter parade and made cute bonnets for it. Jill brought Easter Ponatona (so good, thanks Jill) and somehow all of my parents grandchildren that stayed for Sunday coordinated!
I went for solids this year and I love it!!! I also tried buying brown eggs just to see what it would be like. The bottom photo shows the brown eggs on the top row and the white egg in the same dye on the second row. I think it is fascinating and beautiful seeing the difference in color.
Such a little angel to be around.
