City Creek Trails, Another Direction.

We went on another walk with the Mayos! They are always up for some fun. Margaret wanted the applesause that was in Jaime's pocket the whole time. Margaret was a good sport about not being able have it. It was really windy up on the ridge but very pleasant in the small canyon. The children got so far ahead but it was so nice because it was easy to keep an eye on them. We ate snacks then went to watch Jocie in her clogging competition.  

Helicorpion

At the Idaho Natural History Museum there is a cool shark exhibit. It features the Helicorpion. It means spiral saw. I think this kid love it because it is a little bit scary. Plus there are hidden cheeseburgers throughout the exhibit.

I love this last photo the most because the footprints on the bottom are a reflection of the wall in a display case.

Bookworm

Sparked by "The Magic Treehouse Vacation Under a Volcano" Clara, at the library, pulled a lot books about ancient Greece. She also has pulled a lot of dinosaur books. I thought it funny how she would plop down in the same sort of way.

John found this dead bird in our flower bed. He was sweet and tender when he decided to bury it.

I was picking up poplar sticks in the backyard and broke some apart. Then, I noticed the stars in the middle! I think they are so cool.

Tumble Weed

Nature Walk

It was windy but lovely. The fresh air, exercise, and exploration were just what I was looking for. I was also glad that when we had to go home, it was 5 min away!

Since I have been working on my skills Clara dear has taken an interest. She plans on making a scarf with lots of different colors. Who knows if she will finish her project? I adore just seeing an attempt.

We were so happy to be invited to Corrine's darling Rainbow Party! We had a great time. We are so glad to be friends with Corrine. John says "I love her, and she is nice."
