Hawaii Day 1 and 2

 Kelly and I really enjoyed ourselves on the Big Island. We snorkeled and toured the top of the volcano! We ate at Hawaiian Style a couple of times. It was a great vacation.

Eliza's Activities

 Eliza and I have been busy since the other kids have been in school. She is good at learning and that makes it so fun. Pouring, transferring, stacking, and building. Puzzles too. She has a baby doll that she is sweet with. I hope to do more!

John's Baptism

 John's Baptism was so nice. We had been excited about it for a long time. It was nice to be supported by so much family. We missed those who weren't there. John is such a good boy. He is kind, smart and capable. One of John's friends, Carson had to be dunked three time. that was memorable.  But the spirit really was strong when Kelly, Clara and John did a musical number before the conformations. It was "Savior, Redemer of my Soul." Kelly was on the guitar. Clara the violin and John the cello. It was the best John had ever played. It really was nice. We are so proud of John and expect great things from him. Glad he has started on his covenant road.

Two!!

It was darling to watch Eliza when we place the two tower ice cream sandwich in front of her. We sang Happy Birthday. She didn't need any prompting. She just blew the candles out on cue. We got her some cute little gifts. She has enjoyed them. Eliza is a dear heart that we are always glad to have around. She talks so much more and is learning everyday. We love her. 

Produce

 Kelly and I have been canning a lot together. Spaghetti sauce, salsa, apple sauce, raspberry jam and jalapeño jelly. Clara has had a good time gathering eggs everyday. She made this lovely pattern. It has been a exciting year.

I'm so Glad When Daddy comes Home

Eliza

My dear little girl is so fun to be around. She gets into everything. My make-up, food, Dvd's, kitty food. Bad news! But I have never been so happy. She says "whatyadoingmom?" 200 times a day. I try to answer but I am afraid most of them go unanswered. She loves baby dolls and cats. She runs and tries her best to keep up with the big kids. She loves them very much. On the first day of school she asked "where Margaret go?" It will be an adjustment but I am glad to have her alone for a few hours of the day. I am so happy she is ours!
