Edson Fichter Trail

We had a grand time going to a new place we have never been to Monday. It was quick but fun to be out and seeing new things. We saw beautiful geese and goslings, a dead vole, and I dropped my lens cap in the Portneuf River. Memorable times!

End of the Year

With the end of the year come performances. Clara's class did fun songs from Sussical the Musical. John's class gave a presentation about the planets and continents. Both were fun to watch and I am proud of my children.

Sawing some wood. What better thing for a boy to do?

Lower City Creek

We went without the big girls. We knew they were where they needed to be. We had a great time but didn't get very far at all before we found a spot we liked and sat down to eat. The little girls waded and John and Corrine climbed trees. We ended the outing with cookies and petting a dog with one blue eye and one brown eye. It was a very nice picnic.

It was a cold day. All she wanted to do was sit by the heater vent and read.

Mothers Day

We had a lovely Mothers Day. The children sang songs to me at church and then we drove down to Salt Lake. Uncle James was a good to provide the wrestling and swinging around. We ate a delicious dinner and said nice things about everyone's mother. We surprised everyone especially Clara with the news we are having a fourth and the baby will be a girl! We are all so glad. I love all my mothers and I am glad to be one.

Cursive Club

For the last several months Tuesdays have been our Cursive Club days! The girls started off as mostly strangers but got more and more comfortable with each other as time went along. Each mom took a turn teaching a set of letters. We did fun things with them like watercolor, Budda boards, pretzels, chalk, glitter, poems, etc... It was a good experience for all. Even Brock wanted to join and felt bad it was just for girls. Brock is Andee's four year old brother. Maybe next time Brock?
