Minute to Win It

The first photo is Kaleb doing Junk in the Trunk. It was incredible. The second photo was something about rolling an egg with a pizza box. Kelly used a gift and an ornament instead and totally attacked it. Carrie was awesome at Candy Elevator. Riley almost had it down to one card. She had to blow the other 51 cards off. I lost to Lynn on Magic Carpet. You can see his toe.

Nativity

John was Joseph. He didn't stay put like we wanted him to but I think that made it fun. It is also fun to see what happens when another camera's flash goes off with my shutter.

Balance Beam

Horizontal and vertical lines used in combination communicate stability and solidity. Rectilinear forms with 90-degree angles are structurally stable. This stability suggests permanence and reliability.

My previous post titled Uneven Bars I think this definition applies.
Diagonal lines convey a feeling of movement. Objects in a diagonal position are unstable. Because they are neither vertical nor horizontal, they are either about to fall or are already in motion.

These definitions are from Elements of Art off the JP Getty web site.

Rainy Days and Mondays

We listen to The Carpenters. She only knows the one line from the song but as you can see she sings it with a lot of feeling.

Uneven Bars

I am really excited about this photo. I like all the diagonal lines and I think they help to make it really dynamic. I can tell that she is also concentrating really hard on how to swing her legs right. I would like to remember that she calls it june-nastics.

Johnny Jumper

I wouldn't say that John jumps a lot in the Johnny Jumper. John mostly spins but he does have a good time. On the horse he rocks out. It is really fun to watch. Of course after jumping he has to take a long nap.
